Laundry that possibly connect their waste pipes to rivers and seas.

In most hotels these days, they are using environment issue to encourage people to use less clean towels; mostly for the purpose of cost reduction.

The first paragraph:

"Everyday, hotels launder a great number of towels. This not only consumes a lot of water and energy, but also pollutes our rivers and seas with huge quantities of detergent. You can make a contribution a contribution to preserving the environment-"

I can totally understand the energy issue.

Although water comes from the nature, we still need energy to pump it to the required location. Dinosaurs(I purposely excluded prehistoric flora) had to die so that we can get waters.

Most commercial and residential area channel waste to a treatment plant.

Leakage?? Possible.
But certainly not caused by the laundry.

I'm very certain by they way it is written, their laundry connect the waste pipes directly to rivers and seas.
