‘They asked me whether I was from China’
(The Malaysian Insider) SHAH ALAM, July 17 — A Kajang municipal councillor who was also interrogated by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) alleged commission investigators hurled racist remarks at him during questioning at the state MACC headquarters here.

"They called me a stupid Chinese... Are you from China? You can't speak Malay?” said Tan Boon Wah.

You can actually call Malaysian of Chinese Ethnicity- Chinese, Cina or Orang Kuning Macam Halia.

Just don't call them Stupid Chinese from China. That's VERY OFFENSIVE.

First of, MALAYSIAN OF CHINESE ETHNICITY don't like to be associated as Chinese from China. They might be living here for 3 to 6 generations.... eating their daily Nasi Lemak staple and hangs out in Mamak just like the rest.

Even Chinese in China is not Stupid.

The last thing you would want to call them is Stupid Chinese from China.
That is SERIOUSLY offensive. They should wrapped around and bamboo and get attacked by a panda for saying such offensive remark.
