Skin Colour
In Malaysia, a person is commonly perceived to be of certain characteristic or quality by judging them based on their skin colors. These is an act of stereotypical-racism.
Generally, there are many stereotypes associated with skin colors that just doesn't seems to escape us in Malaysia. After living together for so many decades, we are still trapped with the notion "My Skin Colour is better than your Skin Colour".
My skin colour may be different from YOU. But we all have the same Eye and Hair colour.
... Actually, I'm yellow... but.. there are some part of me which is brown... well....go figure.. hehhehehehe....

Stereotypes.... Why oh why
Who came in your mind when you read these????
-Lazy
-Slow
-Greedy
-Cheater
-Like to 'Pusing-pusing'
-Drink a lot
-More dangerous than a snake
-Good at sex (Award goes to Chua Soi Lek)

Honestly, if you're thinking in your head... "Yeah, those fellows are really (FILL HERE)"
Then, you're certainly stereotyping people based on skin colour. That's SO SERIOUSLY UNHEALTHY.
It leads to the following actions of racism:-
-Refuse to employ someone who're deemed lazy or slow.
-Refuse to share economy with someone who're greedy or enjoy cheating.
-Refuse to trust someone who're likely to lie and get pissed drunk all the time.
IT'S ALL STEREOTYPES... STEREOTYPES... STEREOTYPES....
I don't want to tag a person of certain a skin color with a certain attributes because I believe that these stereotypes doesn't always apply.
I believe, every person has their own qualities; and shouldn't be subjected to these general stereotypes..... Unless that person is Chua Soi Lek.

So... Chinese = Greedy??
Here, I'm going to rant about just one stereotype that is associated with the Chinese.
YES... I'M BLOODY STEREOTYPING THE YELLOW SKIN MALAYSIA...
Most people would say that Chinese are Greedy;
I'm sure there are logical explanations to why they would perceive Chinese as that.
In fact..... I personally AGREE... if I may, I'll like to say "Correct Correct Correct"
I agree.... because... Greediness in Chinese is actually Culturally Correct
I acknowledge that it is however not entirely nice to call Chinese Greedy because 'the bad greediness that leads to cheating and crime' does not always apply to every Chinese.
In fact, most of the current generation people of Chinese origin are quite moderate in term of Greediness.
P.S to my cinakui members: I know you guys are not surprise. Greediness is embedded into the old traditional Chinese Culture originated from China. So, don't point a finger and call me a person who's racist toward Chinese. I'm a person of Chinese origin too.
Oh yes. Greedy people do Greedy things.
Honestly, everyone is a little greedy....

Greediness- Definition
Greediness-.... to me........- would be defined as:-
-Level of motivation to acquire something that is associated with wealth.
-Always wanted more than what they already have.
Think that through........... is Greediness really BAD????
If I apply that definition, Everyone in the World is Greedy.
Greed actually drives the 'Survival of the Fittest' theory.
'Economy' is driven by individual's greediness. It is 'Greed' that creates the momentum to work and improve a person's life.
Hence, anyone who work, is somewhat greedy ('level of greediness' varies).
If you make RM1200 a month this year. Don't you wish you can make ....like RM2400 a month next year???
Everyone has a greediness-drive in them. YES..... YOU included. YOU ARE GREEDY TOO.
In the modern world, where we no longer plant our own food.
"Kais Pagi Makan Pagi, Kais Petang Makan Petang" does not apply anymore.

It's a DOG EAT DOG world, everyone needs to have a little greediness in them.
In that context, not only 'Chinese' are greedy, all the other 'races' are greedy too.

What are the downsides of Greediness anyway???
-It is viewed as a threat to anyone who're more economically backward.
-Greedy people tend to cheat.
-Greedy people are normally stingy.
But there are solutions to these downsides:-
-Be a driving force in the economy and be competitive.
-Try to understand how the system works and avoid getting cheated.
-Try to extract as much as you can from the stingy people.
If you can't beat the GREEDY PEOPLE, join the clan. Let's build the economy.
This is my advise to everyone, even the 'economically-backward' Cinabeng included...hehehehehe.

The WEALTH-ORIENTED Culture of Chinese
The current generation of yellow-skinned Malaysian (the cinabeng) may have evolved culturally. But, those who still have the spillover of 'TONGSANness' effect in them wouldn't disagree with me when I say
"Wealth is the root of Chinese Culture"
Every Chinese in the world aspire to accumulate wealth. Unfortunately, it drives competition sky high in a country that's densely populated with the China-Chinese or Oversea-Chinese(Taiwan and Hong Kong).
These competition however has a positive effect on the country's economy, e.g. Improving efficiency and productivity.
We somewhat know that Chinese are also very business savvy people. It is a traditional thing for Chinese to do- BUSINESS. Even farmers, slaves and beggars who're Chinese; does a little BUSINESS in them.
It is also the Chinese culture to idolize Great Businessmen like Robert Kuok, Li Ka Shing or Stanley Ho. Chinese actually look up highly on people who're Wealthy and GOOD in Business.
That actually drives the whole Wealth-Oriented Culture in Chinese.
That's why, through slightly disadvantaged competition and drives for survival, Chinese needs a little greediness drive in them; which promptly created them into 'Hardworking Monsters'.

Do you remember when you wished your Chinese friends or relatives "GONG XI FA CAI" during Chinese New Year???
Do you actually know what "GONG XI FA CAI" actually means????
"GONG XI FA CAI" actually means ---
-"Prosperity Wishes" (Indirect Translation)
-"Wish that you Get Rich" (Direct Translation)
-"Get RICH !! You Poor Shit" (A whole new meaning when the Rich says to the Poor)
-"Cepat Jadi Kaya!!" (Malay Translation)
Now... you happily wished someone GONG XI FA CAI.... but.. what you actually did is to motivate them to build more Wealth.... Which eventually leads to Greediness.
Chinese Language has always been WEALTH-DRIVEN-MOTIVATIONAL
Ask anyone who speak Chinese, they'll agree with you.
Hence... the Chinese Language has also shaped the Wealth-Oriented Culture of Chinese.

GOD of FORTUNE (CHOY SAN)
Traditionally, Chinese also worship GOD of FORTUNE (Choy San).
They would make a prayer to C.S.:-
-When the Economy is bad
-When the Economy is good. Hoping that it'll sustain.
-Before they start a business
-Before they go up Genting and gamble
-After they come down losing from Genting. Hoping they'll win the next time.
-When they need to ask for a 4D number
-After they buy a 4D ticket; to seek fortune by winning it
- 4D numbers... 4D numbers..... Genting Genting Genting.... yeah...
C.S. must have been really bored with 4Ds and Gentings kaki.
hehehehehe...
Realistically, this is also part of the Greediness drive in Chinese.
This is BAD GREED. Shame on these gamblers.....

The Modern Yellow-Skinned Malaysian and their Evolved Culture
The traditional Chinese mindset indeed proved to be a catalyst to Greediness.
However, through generations of cultural dilution from the original Chinese Immigrant in Malaysia, the generations which is born here had Cultural Evolution.
These are the observations in them that is in contrast with the notion of 'greediness':
-They start to work with the 'Malaysian Timing'
-They have less respect to wealth accumulation. Instead, they spend the money earned more often.
-They don't do business unethically to a point where Melamine-Milk-Tainted Issue erupted in Malaysia as they had good share of the economy.
-They value quality more than cost, unlike Chinese in China who value cost more then quality.
-Their language has also evolved to accommodate the simple business climate in Malaysia and be less driven than those in China.

Yes yes yes... Still Greedy
Nevertheless, Yellow-Skinned-Malaysian on average is still more greedy than the others. That's an undeniable truth. However, this Greediness gap is closing in.... yes... the others are catching up on 'Greediness' too.
I know some Greedy people who would sell a CONTRACT or earn COMMISSION through heads up advantage. They immediately pocketed millions and make more people around them suffers.
Their greed is more economically oriented and may cause a lot of people to lose out in the economy.
At least.. that "Haiya.. kasi 5sen diskaun lagi lar boss... sikit lagi..." greed is actually meaningful.
It is part of "LOW COST MANAGEMENT"... so that product gets cheaper, consumer buys cheaper product and inflation falls.

GOD will forgives Good Greedy People who contributes to the economy.
Those CHEATERS, LIARS, SCAMMERS and CONMAN greedy people are bad people.
With sustainable economy, they should be lessen.
I know the risk of doing business in China; coz, they even cheat our Yellow-Skinned-Malaysian.
We are victims too. hehehhee.. Sometimes I do wonder if we're even DNA related.
