Crony or Donkey?

Despite the fact that you can gain extra power and extra mileage to wealth through the practice of cronyism, there are many downsides of such act.

Cronyism is a practice that's in the opposite the practice of meritocracy(*note that this whole sentence is an Oxymoron).

If you're practicing cronyism, you'll give something away (power, wealth or fame) to someone relatively close to you (your proxy) so that you can achieve something later on (power, wealth or fame).

In Cronyism, there are two set of players in the "Big Boys/Girls Club" or the "Golden Circle". First set are the Heads; who decides the 'appointments' in this game. Second set are the Cronies; which are picked by the Heads.

The degree of freedom of choice achieved in the game of Cronyism is relatively small compare to the practice of full merit-based game. Sometime, only a small group of untalented proxies gets to play the game.

Instead of calling the second set of players as Cronies, I'll rather rename them to Donkeys.

The Donkeys leveraged their potential gains that they could achieve in this game by being obedient to their Masters; which is the Heads. They have to adopt all the rules set by their Masters before getting to their resources.

So, what do the Donkeys gets at the end of the game?
-Power
-Wealth

No Fame???

They are the Donkeys.. They need to hide behind the curtains so that people don't know that they are the 'Cronies for Someone'

If you're practicing Cronyism.
Would you want to show your ASS to the world????
