The meaning of the ROCKET
-The blue circle stands for the unity of the multi-racial people of Malaysia.
-The white background stands for purity and incorruptibility.
-The red rocket symbolizes the Party's aspiration for a modern, dynamic and progressive society.
-The four rocket boosters represent the support and drive given to the Party objectives by the three major races and others

I'm sure you'll agree with me that the meaning given officially were fully made up.
It somehow seems metaphorically incorrect too.
Ask yourself a question.
Assuming you are absolutely clueless about politic in Malaysia; and you're required to vote for a party solely based on Symbols; would you choose a Rocket?

I find it quite hard to vote for a political party with Rocket as their symbol. It just seems wrong.
ROCKET SYMBOL ...... no matter how you interpret it... just didn't sounds right.
The red rocket somehow, looks like a Scud Missile to me.
Looks like a LOGO that AL QAEDA would adopt.
Looks like some anarchist official sign.
*KABOOM*........ Terrorist attack.

A democratic action party using a terrorist logo?
It does indeed looked like a logo of Extremism.
Whether they are anarchy clan, muslim militant, or guerilla communist.
No wonder UMNO still label them as communist party till this day.
It's not hard to think of them as "Cina! Cina! Cina!... Kominis! Kominis! Kominis!"
I think they should change their logo to something else.... maybe a symbol of Ketupat or something...
Or the logo of BUS... the one... one cinabeng independent candidate used on one of the by-elections. At least, that was a lot safer.
I'm not trying to offend DAP supporters. This is just my opinion
